Sometimes when we see cars and trucks parked neatly in rows at a car show, the only assessment we can make is on how they look. Without driving them or seeing them in action, it's hard to appreciate just what these vehicles can do.
This point became obvious this weekend during the Firefest event, sponsored by the Independence 76 Fire Company, in the parking lot of the Independence Event Center. This was a free event with a car show, raffles, fire hoses spraying water for the kids, muster games, and several vintage fire trucks.
